The Equus SOPREMA Novatherm Warm Roof System is a light-weight, thermally insulated roofing system which consists of the Novaglass Polibit two-layer APP-modified membrane system applied over a rigid thermal PIR insulation board and vapour barrier. This guarantees a continuous and efficient thermal resistance (R-value) as per the New Zealand Building Code and is designed for use on exposed architectural flat roofs, podium decks, balconies, and terraces. It offers a cost effective, superior, thermal waterproofing system.
Novatherm Warm Roofs provide a hard, stable, UV-resistant APP-modified bituminous two-layer membrane system, finished with pressed coloured natural slates available in two colours. The roofing system is suitable for both new builds, and roof refurbishments.
The system has been assessed and complies with the New Zealand Building Code, and the Novaglass membrane system holds a current BRANZ appraisal and is also part of the Equus SOPREMA Warm Roof BRANZ Appraisal.
The basesheet is mechanically fastened and the cap sheet is torch-applied.
This system can be used on different substrates such as plywood, concrete, metal, mineral wool insulation and PIR insulation.
