May Highlights 2020

May brought a sense of positivity and forward movement throughout New Zealand as our country transitioned from Level Three to Level Two and we were feeling it at Equus. Our team was filled with good energy as we got back into the swing of things reconnecting with one another, sharing stories of our lockdowns and enjoying that morning coffee break not over a screen. We opened our doors back up to our applicators and contractors and were very pleased to see so many smiling faces showing up on our doorsteps.  We couldn’t be more grateful to all the essential workers that worked hand in hand with our warehouse & factory operators to guarantee our products got out of the door and on to site.

In Blenheim, the factory got back to mixing and producing all our wonderful in-house products. Our Reps from North to South were back on the roads visiting sites, taking care of their respective regions, and making sure those jobs that went on hold for 6 weeks got going without any snags. The teams working from the offices & their homes made time to catch with our overseas manufactures, all our architectural friends and trusty main contractors to keep the lines of communication open and to ensure they know we are here to support them through the good times and the bad.

All in all, May was filled with lots of positives for the team and our wider community. We definitely had our share of hiccups, not every day went as planned (just ask Callum) but at the end of the day, we’ve all gone home feeling so fortunate to have the community we do and to also live and work in this beautiful country of New Zealand.
