Architectural, Sales & Technical Consultant

Nearly 11 years ago Emma joined Equus Industries after previously working in the paint industry for the best part of 20 years with Domestic and Commercial clients. She had a brief time with Feltex Carpets, leaving to start a family. Emma and her husband purchased a painting and decorating retail franchise which they had for several years before she left to join the Equus Team in 2006.

Emma finds her role as an Architectural, Sales & Technical Consultant enjoyable, particularly the technical side of the waterproofing industry, as it is always a challenge to provide a solution or product for clients, Architects, Engineers, Facility Managers, Builders and home owners. Customer service is key and developing long term relationships with our applicator network and specifiers is vital for our continuing growth as a leader in the Waterproofing and Coatings market.

“There is certainly a great deal of satisfaction when your products are specified on a project and you become part of a successful team.”

Some of the most enjoyable projects she has been involved with to date are Kumutoto, One Market Lane, Old Bank, Te Papa Re-Roofing Project, Massey College of Creative Arts and Museum of City and Sea.

In her spare time Emma enjoys catching up with family and friends who are spread around the country. Family tramps and walks are a favourite on most weekends on the Kapiti Coast.
She enjoys following her teenage children’s activities and supporting them in their new ventures.
